I love this show, and I believe this nailed my definition of an amazing T.V. series. With dark humor and an intense emotional rollercoaster, I believe this show deserves far more positive recognition than it is given. This touches on real life occurrences, from struggling with coming out of the closet, showing how teenagers truly get along, and how we all screw up in the process of growing up (perhaps not as much as in some scenes, but you get my point). I cried, I laughed, and I got just as insatiably angry as Patty Bladell (Debby Ryan). No, this is not a show meant for kids. This is a show for someone like myself (18 year old female) can enjoy later in the evening when I get home from being at a boring job to watch this exciting show.
