“Red Kite Adventure” Red Kite Adventure written by Leela Gour Broome is my favourite novel. It is the best novel I have ever read. The book depicts a heart-warming friendship between two friends- Veer and Arzaan, which will mesmerize you to your own childhood days with your friends. As Veer and Arzaan exchange their stories, their friendship rapidly deepens over pooping messenger pigeons that one can call with a special whistle and Dada’s kites dancing in the wind with charming tails. But their joyous days come to an abrupt halt when Veer gets kidnapped and Arzaan gets ready to make all sacrifices to rescue his dear friend. Veer also is not disheartened when he has to do the same. Finally, their bond is enough to save them both although they are too young boys. I suggest all of you to read this magical book atleast once. To be honest, I could not stop my breath when I reading the rescue part. I cannot explain in words how much I like this book. And I am sure you will also like it.

“Rusty Comes Home” by Ruskin Bond Rusty comes home written by Ruskin Bond is the 5th and the last volume of the Rusty series. This series of wonderful novels tells about a little boy named Rusty, who takes part in many in pleasant adventures, where he ( Ruskin Bond ) whisks his readers away to the beautiful lofty hills, amongst gentle breezes, waterfalls, streams, love and laughter, and creates a whole new world, one of wonders, beauty and serenity. In this volume, after Rusty’s return from London, he explores Delhi, Dehra and Shahganj before settling down in Mussoorie, making his living as a writer. This collection contains some captivating stories about Rusty’s friends and fleeting acquaintances, including Suresh (who is a disabled child); with whom he strikes up a close bond; Uncle Bill (who habitually poisons people with arsenic); and the incredible Jimmy (a jinn who can extend his arms to infinite lengths). Full of charming and eccentric characters, these stories of love, loss and adventure will appeal to readers of all ages.
