Brave to write about DV and I think it had Importance for DV education. Had lily stayed I would have hated the book. I was never connected to Ryle from the start but I’m not connected to perfect beautiful arrogant people so I was bored with their relationship that felt mostly sexual without the emotional connection. I was fascinated by atlas and wished she would have dug deeper into his character. When I felt emotionally connected to the book it was when it focused on the diary or atlas in the present. I liked it but didn’t love it. But worth the read:)
