What a beautiful movie, a very rare of a kind to find in this era. An emotional musical journey that every indian must watch. It definitely will make audience very emotional. Oh boy what a movie, Sad to see it being underrated. Can be related to current pandemic situation where we have seen so many migrant labourers struggle.

A perfect late night movie. It has all the perfect ingredients for a viewer to keep them glued. This certainly is not on the lines of quite place but much more. This is one of such rare movies which keeps the audience on the edge of the seat. Thought the ending is different to regular Hollywood style. Netflix should seriously consider releasing to theatres as it certainly raises the bar.

Don't believe any bad reviews on this. The movie knows what it wants to be and does it extremely well, just like the Raid movies. Well acted, very well shot and it ultimately very satisfying too. Some parts of the raid I felt were horror'esque in terms of the frightening tension and you can certainly tell its the same director for Apostle. Gareth doesn't shy away from hardcore violence and it fits. There aren't any jump scares per se but ramped up tension throughout, I got the feeling of the wickerman (cult, island, sacrifices for crops etc) but with more lore and reveals which I liked. If you like the raid movies, horror, or satisfying revenge thrillers then you will love this
