Utter garbage. Low budget low quality garbage with terrible voiceovers. The quality of the production completely disconnected me from the actual film, it would have been better with the original sound and subtitles.

Starts off really well, builds genuine curiosity of some obviously off events throughout early episodes which keeps you watching. Then it basically goes down the rabbit hole of stupidity. Slowly at first, by about the end of episode 3 concern was growing. The reason it's hard to see what's happening is becuase the plot is more set on hiding the truth from you in all its absurdity than it is telling the actual story, regardless of how many holes they create in the plot by doing that. The ending is utterly stupid. I hate it so much when the writers take the lazy way out for some contrived ridiculous ending that is completely unrelateable to everyone because it ventures into the world of pure fantasy rather than cleverly engineering a well thought out, well researched and meticulously pieced together complex plot. They might as well have ended it with someone waking up and the plot twist being that it was all a smack heads dream. To be fair I'm still not completely convinced that's not actually the case. 2 stars becuase it did hook me, and it did keep me watching to the end, even though it was a complete let down.

I wasn't a huge fan of the new presenters, and the 2019 season was mediocre in my opinion. Chris is too serious, Paddy is too daft and Freddie is too competitive. However, having just found the new season on i-player and watched the entire thing I have to say I really enjoyed it! The three presenters really do bounce off each other, Freddie's competitive nature often far outstrips his driving ability, Paddy's flamboyance is a total wild card and Chris being the motoring journalist trying to keep it all straight gives them something to drive against. The three of them look like they are genuinely having the time of their life with some of the challenges! I have to be honest, I love the old presenters as much as the rest of us, but they aren't what they used to be. The grand tour and top gear all felt scripted with them. We know its scripted, but it should feel organic - that's essential to enjoyment of the show and really at the core of their job in my opinion, it felt like they were getting lazy to me. So in a nutshell, Chris, Paddy and Freddie have turned out to be a refreshing change. It's also nice to see two guys with working class roots as part of the show, keeps it grounded and makes them a lot more relateable. Old Top Gear stopped being relateable a long time ago. Finally, keeping the supercar appearances short and central is a welcome change. The latest lambo is nice to have a quick look at but they really do start to look like more of the same when that's all they ever seen to drive.

This lasted a couple of hours before I lost all desire to play any further. It's a really badly implemented movement pattern bottle smash stealth game. At the start you find all sorts of junk, yet the only things I can craft are pry bars, lockpicks and dirty bandages. The actual gameplay parts (not the scenery) are very densely populated, so killing pretty much always alerts someone else, and the whole thing becomes hide, smother someone, run to a bush.. wait for the other guys to forget you exist then rinse and repeat. The AI is really stupid. It makes the game so predictable that it's just boring. The story did nothing for me, I thought the concept sounded like fun but it's just so stupid. You get locked out of the city and they all hate you until you rip your clothes, now we're all friends. You're in the belly of a derelict train station and 3 coppers appear out of nowhere. In the city, everyone is off their face on happy pills yet the ones who get locked out and are actually sane do nothing about it? None of it makes sense, which would be fine if the game was actually fun to play. It's not. It's hiding and running away like a little girl. Not my cup of tea.
