I love Alison's designs. Her personality is a little off putting but her designs compensate. She goes past her schedule by months, which is always a surprise. But what is up with her always walking through old houses with her little handbags?😂

Not a fan of this update. Movie much better. David kelly is great; is it now "was" great. This is horrible. Casting also terrible. Episode 5 was a complete waste. Rusty is not a sympathetic character and i don't care if he did it. why was medical examiner so hostile? Children don't seem to react normally. Im shocked people have given it any positive ratings.

This show is different—not just removing walls and decorating a warehouse. Ben’s carpentry always adds something and each home is unique. They make inexpensive and small homes beautiful and homey. More Ben and Erin shows that showcase what can be done with an old home and retaining charm

We know all these shows are setups. Having hillary go over budget is probably already determined at the beginning but she also always gets houses with real problems esp old ones I don’t remember Fixer Upper ever doing a house that needed a new septic or had major leaks. It’s a show—i guess homeowners are acting frustrated , annoyed and rude for some “realism.” Having said all this, Hillary is the most talented designer and creates miracles. Her designs are always beautiful, unique, and clever. I wish, however, there was less photography of cheap accessories on tables and more focus on the millwork and design of space. And if people don’t move with David’s option remember moves always involve money: the move itself, window treatments, new furniture to fit the new space, repainting and stuff you never think of. And Davids sale price is decreased with realtor fee if not waived by david. Laugh at their banter . They’re luke an old married couple. And one more thing... we never have to watch them playing with their children, eating with them, etc. its a house design show!

Looks like a lot of people have suggested that the host stay out of the idea creation and haggling. Has she listened? It's OK to remind contestants that the audience is city dwellers but her design and her pricing advice should be left out of her conversations. The show isn't about her.
