The book as it was written should have talked about Chomsky's linguistics stand, but rather chooses to attack him using cheap methods by attacking his political stance and then building a guilt narrative centred again around his political stance to attack his generative grammar theory. I cannot say more than this, if you can find a single man on this planet to have ever lived who has been able to assimilate, absorb and understand so much information about socio-political-economic systems and has made it accessible as Chomsky has, then I am ready to change my mind. Every single fact stated by him can be found, it is not selective but rather highlights the limitations of an individual s capacity to read and understand. I challenge knight to someday do the same if he has the intellect to do so.
