What was once the most epic series to ever hit our screens was ruined on the last season by writers who just couldn't wait for the book series author to release his last book. The 8th season was a disgrace. That's the only word that comes to mind. It's like the previous seven seasons never happened. All characters crumbled in this season. The long awaited fight (from season 1 mind you) between the white walkers happened in one episode. One. And the night king died far too easily. What was the most awaited episode became the true reflection of the sloppy writing of the season (DnD feel tagged). Let me not get started on Cersei's death. Her death was supposed to be more satisfying than Geoffrey's. And boy did they NOT deliver. What happens to her? Bricks fall on her and she dies in the arms of her "lover" Jamie. At this point, I'm not sure I'll watch the last episode. I'm hoping that all this is a dream by Ned Stark in the very first episode of season one or Bran's dream on the very last episode of season seven. Or better yet, HBO should give Netflix the rights to redo this whole thing because I can't believe we waited two and a half years for this mockery.
I still love GOT but this was the worst way ever for it to exit our screens.
