All over the place and nothing like the first. This was just a throw together film where tbh I had no real idea what was going on most of the time. Many people would jump out of the sea and be bone dry, many contradictory scenes. It's saving grace is the cast of great actors but that's really about it! I mean there are even orcas and whales batting some random blue people into battle with their tails at some points. Very silly and chaotic. Such a shame as the first was a good movie. 3 stars is generous.

It's far from what you expect to see when you think of the Matrix. That said it's not a bad film and has many funny bit it. Best by far is Neo trying to fly! I just don't get how Morpheus is suddenly a program, or how the machines now form part of the other side IO previously Zion. It's clever and dumb all at the same time with some funny bits splashed around but does not link in with the series of otherwise epic movies. What a shame. I will watch it again as I feel it may be a grower once you know what to expect.
