I loved it. Dramatized but realistic. I recommend it and think everyone should watch it because it gives you a glimpse of what everyone has to hide - its significant. Especially since you rarely see any of this in the kiss-don't-tell conservative Arab culture. I would love an in-depth (unbiased) analysis of it. Rather, if society permits, interviews with each actor and the director about their experiences and thoughts regarding their roles, characters and the plotline (maybe there is , I'll search and see.) I didn't think it was slow at all but I understand why others would think that. It was very enjoyable and emotional, at least for me. Spoiler S P O I L E R S and my one problem I don't get why Sheriff didn't immediately come clean that they switched phones when THAT happened - yeah he's cheating but it would have been better, for him, to be just that

The start was promising, very interesting, and i was looking forward to the show. But my experience was... unexpected to say the least. The plot, if you were to look at it in general point of view, is interesting, amazing, inticing, but the execution could have been better. The amount of plot holes is inexcusable. Not to mention the characters' behaviors. Do the creators honesetly want us to believe that supposed "TEENS" did these actions and reactions? ---------Spoiler--------- Also the show didnt make me bielieve that Guzman was actually in love with nadia like it jsut happened so suddenly. Same with Ander and Omar its like you met on a gay dating app and now suddenly you constantly wanna see each other and wanna be togethor uhhhh what??? Where is the development???? Lacking is what i see. Most of their arc was great thow but the start was so RUSHED. and evidence of the rushing is present in the show. ------------------ end of spoilers----------- Not to mention the protrayal of some of the characters, i, myself, am muslim, and was looking forward to how this show would protray muslims. would it live up to my expectations? well... I HATE how there is an undertone and accentuation of oppression in this show. They villanize the Dad way too much. They could have gone around things very differently... i loved the couple tho :) probably the thing that kept me going the most and even that had some issues. The acting is great. i love the cast. ITs just that there is so much wrong with the show, even more that i didnt mention.... but i hope things get fixed by the second season. im interested in seeing that.
