i read through the worse reviews of this movie and they don’t get it. this movie isn’t for them. the critique of acting too hard is just vulnerability lost on them. they’re supposed to be awkward. they’re all stuck in a limbo. another critique is saw was that it led them no where, but that’s the point. all these people are stagnate. no where to go, kinda stuck in their niche of the world. it ends with jamie’s mother understanding him more. nothing is to change on the outside, it’s all internal growth. the movie is wordy and pretentious. i like that. this movie makes me feel seen. it’s everything i love in media. i love the descriptions, the set design, the characters, and their relationships. they’re quirky but not different at all. these are regular people. i love this movie so much
