What was Jill Nussinow thinking when she wrote this book! Time saver? Really? So many of the recipes too call for ingredients that are not typical to stock in many pantries. I wonder why I ever purchased this book? Happy I purchased it at a book outlet! I don't even want to waste someone else's money by giving it to Goodwill or Salvation Army thrift stores. I will try to use the book by substituting ingredients. I give the author credit for putting together easy to read recipes. Would have been nice if she had included substitutes for some of her unusual food choices. I guess maybe she is catering to people who use these ingredients regularly. I am comfortable using my Instant Pot, therefore, I will definitely be making adjustments in her cooking method when possible. I will try to be inspired by the lovely pictures. All is not lost! I will make the most of this book! There are some redeeming information and a few ordinary recipes for ordinary people like me! I strongly recommend that anyone thinking of purchasing this book borrow it from your local library and carefully reviewing the recipes.

Overall a great family movie. Laughed so hard at all the stereotyping of Utah's Latter-day Saints. (As one who belongs to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints we really are all very different depending on where we live and our cultural backgrounds.) This movie had many positive messages and addressed several topics some very difficult ones, like grief due to the death of a spouse and parent; the remarriage of a widow not only a year after her spouse's death but to someone not of her faith; faith in God; anger, etc. A lot packed into this movie!

Sad to see so many negative comments. This movie has to be looked at through the eyes of a child. I loved this movie! I am a grandmother and I can see the humour appealing to my grandsons. I love all the different nationalities/ethnic groups in it. No movie is ever perfect, but this appealed to the kid in me There were many good lessons taught. The biggest one was that it is okay to be different and not value yourself from what others think of you; stand up for what is right; defend the helpless. Movie shows people of different racial and ethnic backgrounds working together. In today's world we need to see more of this on screen. I am of mixed racial background so the diversity in this movie appealed to me.
