Well acted but a very weird and sometimes confusing plot

A good show has been ruined by what seems to be dubbed voices! Bring back the subtitles please.

Why do such enjoyable series like Beecham House (and Dickensian of a few years ago) not only not get another season but leave viewers with such unsatisfying, unresolved NON endings? It is making me leery of beginning a series without first learning it's likelihood of conclusion.

I loved it! You start out feeling like this guy is a loser but you end up loving him.
