I loved the first Subnautica game, but I wished I hadn't watched it being made in early beta. I wanted to enter the world completely unsure of anything that would happen and what the world would be like. So I was excited when I heard Below Zero was being made and didn't pay any attention to the development process. I can say for sure, the experience was amazing and everything I had hoped for. I highly recommend this game. Play the first game first for the context and the story as well as that it is a great game. Then get to this one. It took me 21.5 hours to finish with the previous Subnautica experience, so there is plenty of content. And that's with my personal approach to not doing much base building or stylizing, which this game gives you a lot of options for.
