I absolutely love the original & the new show includes the best parts of the original (Bette, Shane, Alice & other cast members who are guest starring in seasons one and two) while also breaking out on its own. I loved how in every episode there was a little throw back to the OG show, be it naming the bar Dana's, a literal slide show of the OG cast or Bette referencing Tina. They don't over do the references, so that someone who hasn't watched the OG would be confused, but they are obvious enough for us OG fans. I was a little disappointed there was only eight episodes for the first season, but I am so excited we are getting ten episodes for the second season. I of course love the OG characters, especially Bette & Alice, but some of the newbie's have become fast favourites of mine, especially Gigi, Dani & Finley. Can't wait to see season two!
