I had a lot of expectations from the day I finished reading it ends with us. I knew that lily and atlas would end up together. I just wanted to travel through their journey as I was excited. Atlas is a gem of a person. Lily is so lucky to be loved by him and of course she deserves it all. Lily and atlas's story is awesome. No doubt in that. What I felt is they should have given justification to ryle's character. Ryle is shown so unimportant. It's obvious that ryle doesn't deserve lily as his wife. Atleast they could have shown him as lily's friend later on when she moved on with atlas. Moreover Atlas pitied him more than lily which I really loved about atlas's character. I felt really bad for Ryle. Not because Lily chose Atlas. Because he is shown as a monster who would even hurt his daughter which he would never do. I wanted to see him getting better and move on in life which the book has missed.The book would be great if they had included it. Also they didn't include lily's perspective of her wedding to atlas which was a major disappointment. I was literally hoping for it. I wanted to see ryle move on, sitting together and making jokes at the dinner table on lily's wedding. I wanted to see them together as a happy family. Overall I liked it. But the story line could've been better.
