I love Roseanne from the very first episode. I've seen the series in it's entirety at least 10 times. I was so excited to hear that my favorite sitcom was coming back. The new Roseanne was different but still very good. It dealt with current issues and still made me laugh. The Conners is just not good. The jokes are awful, filled with canned laughter and fall completely flat. The writing is atrocious and despite the actors/actresses best efforts it's terrible without Roseanne. She was the anchor for the entire show. The rest of the cast fed off her, reacted to her, and based their lines of her anticipated reactions. SHE was the reason to watch the show, and as much as I love John Goodman, the show is just awful and unwatchable now.
