Loved the movie and loved the fact that for the first time, A rated actors like Priyanka Chopra and Rajkumar Rao are not playing the read roles, but characters of the book. The story majorly revolves around Balram Halwai who comes from village to city and how his pure intentions has turned ghastardly while being in clutches of his fraud and currupt masters for whom he starts working; and how he stood up for himself and created fate of his own is gripping. Since I've read the book long back, so I'll say that all the major parts of the book has been covered while throwing light to a poor man's fate, or a servant in India. The movie has done justice to the book to a great extent. Reel life Balram has totally done justice to the character of the ficticious novel.

Absolutely fallen in love with both the season. The character Joe is very much intriguing and captivating. He's just not being portrayed as a sociopath and a jolted lover but there is a lot to him, he has a great sense of protection and care towards children who are not safe he feels and he goes out the way to help them. And he has done evil things to people whom he thinks are harmful to him or his girlfriends. In the second season, he is a lot better man until he finds someone of his own type. It seems like he wants to be a better person, but it is only possible if he finds someone as normal as any. He fell in love with Quinn, but guess she is still not the one for him,when he gets to know that she is the same way as him, he is not very much fascinated as he is hating this side of himself. Really wish season 3 has something different and extra to offer! Looking forward to it.
