The beginning was promising. But the ending was a dud. I stuck to it unfortunately because I wanted to know how it ended. Nothing there. The script went in several directions, all very confusing. I stuck to it because it said that it was based on a true story. Really? The only positive thing I can say, is that the movie was populated by excellent actors I still feel upset for wasting my time.

I absolutely enjoyed this movie from beginning to end, because it handles very sensitive issues in a very human way, pointing to the fact that we are more alike than different. I did not expect to like it specially, with this so-called music, which is not my style at all, but somehow it all made sense. The ending was the best It is very rare for me to be enjoying a movie. I often give up after a little while, but this one I watched from beginning to end.

If you were young and foolish in the 60's and 70's this documentary is for you. Moving and tender with all of the human fallacies. Leo the poet, the chansonnier, thé wandering teenager in Montréal, NYC, feeding his soul on Hydra.
