People seem to have a real issue with the music in this one, honestly I loved it, while i would have liked a little bit more variation in the music as in not the exact same song for every emotional scene, but otherwise i thought it went down pretty well. I have not read the webtoon so i can't comment on that but as far as korean shows goes i loved this, it was fun, and with a lot of action, quite a bit of gore, and honestly i LOVED the monster design, kind of reminded me of old school evil dead style. I assume/hope there is a second season because i'm not finished with this one.

I actually really liked this, i've watched the movie which i liked at the time due in part to some of the actors involved but i can see why those who had watched the series said the movie was bad, because...in reality there is just not enough time to put what is needed into a movie to make it good, in fact i'm not SURE about how much of the novel the series has pulled from but the entire second season plot i don't think there was anything of the sort in the movie. There is some great actors in this but don't get too attached because...well zombie story basics lol definitely an interesting and great new way/era/culture to be getting zombie esque shows from especially when they are a horror creature that does feature across so many cultures, I did especially like the second season and the findings and am ready for a third season cause the set up seems cool.

WARNING- if ambiguous or sad/open endings are not your thing...be ready. To be perfectly honest though this one has an at least obvious direction so the ending isn't exactly surprising...apart from the cameo after the credits that leaves us with a 'season 2' vibe but with ZERO actual plan on there ever being a season 2...like come on Hong sisters, can we get an explanation of that one, is it just a cutesy teaser or may we get some kind of related series in the future?! (I would love it by the way) Ok so i wanted to just vent a bit about the end but the entire series is good, i mean i has a bit of everything and its not saturated in bad romance (though i'm all for that in kdramas) there's some horror some fun and some Mystery so definitely one to watch

I have rewatched this a few times now and i must say, as a 'coming of age' type film this for me does such a good job, i honestly wish this was a must watch for early high school kids because while there is obviously a lot of 'not so realistic' stuff happening in this drama the basic plot and its message on bullying and how to treat people etc is so important and i really feel like i haven't watched another drama even in English that portrays this message so well and strongly. p.s. all the amazingly cute and talented actors and actresses also make this drama a must watch!

Yeah but Nah. This has to be my least favorite kdrama i've watched so far, and that's saying something because honestly...there's not a whole lot of redeeming factors going on with this one. The idea seemed unique at first and to be honest the bad guy is probably one of my favourite kdrama baddies so far in that he's just totally psycho (until the end -_- ) AND there are some fun characters, but that's about all this gives you...before SPOILERS setting those nice characters up with good storylines and then killing them off willy nilly as if the writer didn't actually have any good plot to continue with (i honestly don't think they did). I stopped watching after the 3rd episode and then went and watched a whole other kdrama series because this one was so boring (Black - just in case you are wondering which is BRILLIANT) i came back and after about episode 8 i was just slogging through this to find out the ending, which was so disappointing and pointless it makes you wonder if you can get those hours of watching back. Lets put it this way, they had an interesting premise and a great villain but then spoiled it with a boring plot, weird boring and in the end completely pointless main characters and set up and then an entirely boring ending like i am seriously almost angry at how this ended up without even a satisfying ending!

This wasn't a bad watch, I will say the last two episodes...were a bit all over the place, I was seriously confused which may be due to a rush to finish the series in the last couple of episodes or maybe thats just how it goes in the original manga, i don't know. As far as asian dramas go i think it stands up there with other enjoyable rom com series really well and the characters aren't bad, if you don't like repeating storylines though i'd give it a miss it might make you go mad as the amount of times Si and Shancai tell each other that they 'won't let go/will protect each other/like each other' and than seem to forget they even said that the next day is outrageous unbelievable...but then if you have ever read manga this won't even surprise you because thats just how manga rolls! Be in it for the funny moments and the definite tears if you're a crying type like me cause there will be tears so much heartbreak! At the end of the day It's a nice modern version of some sort of crazy love story!

Hard, so hard on the heart! Also be damn prepared because before i checked i assumed this was a 15 or 20 episode series...No seems like Chinese dramas are more like lord of the rings on steroids...63 EPISODES GUYS! I will say there was honestly a lot of filler by the middle and to me there was really three parts that could have been refined because...well too much filler, BUT Xufeng and Jinmi's story is seriously something worth watching, it is heartbreaking and funny and just beautiful, i will say it does become a bit too full on depressing towards the mid-late half of the series as Jinmi Matures and Xufeng and the Night Immortal sort of go insane in their own rights but if you can pull through it...well yeah. Must say i loved it for the most part but the ending was just slightly a let down...only because after everything i kind of wanted more happy fluff to lighten my heart, but i always have to give kudos to a show that can make me feel this much emotion!
