Not a horrible film, but really thought they would drive home the cat and mouse thrill aspect. Where is the fear, the characters didn't even seem on edge. There's nothing frightening about the predator... Well that's not the predator that I remember. The film tried, but it looks like the magic is lost

Huge fan of the original Matrix, it's up there on my all time best list. If you're a diehard, leave your expectations at the door. This is a different style and way less heavy. If you can appreciate it for what it is, it's possible to be thoroughly entertained (was definitely worth seeing in that light). It just doesnt have that deep, heavy hitting impact I think we all want to feel again. It tries to have a similar impact, but it's in a "modern" style. And modern just lacks that originality/authenticity. That being said, still go watch it!
