This is my childhood Pokémon game as someone that played it at seven and really really enjoyed I lost the game when I sold my ds and recently got one again just to play this game I'm very happy with the starters deciduye is probably one of the best starters to exist and incineroar is cool along with primirina so I don't really like playing on a ds it's hard to see and a bit small and hurt my neck a lot but that's going off to a review of a DS so back to the game its definitely not as good as I remembered but we all know nostalgia gets the best of us as there is constant and I mean constant battles it's better with the rival battles than sword and shield though and the new Pokémon are really good and I love the tropical feeling with a fun story the 3D graphics are a massive improvement from X and Y I love the new feel with kahunas and the island challenge instead of gym challenges z moves are a boring feature that is just like big version of this move and at places u just got tired of doing something I had to and wanted to do other things I don't think this game deserves teaching and I think people who have been with the series since children could still enjoy it the challenges are all really fun and some can be intense not really for adults but hey how can you not laugh at some of the dialogue such as "the taste of the rare bone fills my mouth" mistake I think not I like the totems they're all a challenge along with the elite four they were a challenge and the music I really enjoyed the music for this game it definitely could have had more developing but hey I found it really fun the cut scenes aren't bad and I enjoye dthe story a lot difficult game that I think everyone should like just not the bestgame in the series but more than average I really like it

People do say this is a bad game it's not terrible and if your a new comer to the series like me it's pretty fun however if your a long term fan its pretty bad and lazy and even being young I can see this game was lazily made your constantly having rival battles thrown in your face and it's a pretty easy game I am disappointed as sun and moon where on the ds and some how 10 times better than this game on the switch the whole game is bland and seems like a demo version yet some how I enjoy it as the Pokémon look pretty good in battle the crown tundra expansion pass is a really fun extension that filled in some of the things that never appeared in the main game but the isle of armour waste of money and a big ball of trash I live kubfu and urshifu but the island literally is horrific and shouldn't exist it looks good I guess the story is just horrible same with the main game Leon is probably the worst champion to exist just showing off then you beat him first try the city's are bland I like the wild area most of the gym leaders are forgettable even though I'm trashing it though it's not horrific there are worse games and I mean way worse after the intro to the game that lasts a mind destroying 4 hours the game is fast paced after that it's fun to try and catch the new Pokémon and designs are good except the starers they are the worst since gen 5 and as someon that lives in England I'm disappointed with the representation the post game is bad and the second half of it is actually pretty fun not terrible just if your expecting an amazing game and want one don't play it if you want to relax I guess this is a good game cause it's easy so basically new comers it's fun long term fans just don't play it.
