The film was one of the most intense , heart breaking films ever . The story itself is quite cruel but executed to utter perfection . Vicky Kaushal , Alia Bhatt , Jaideep Ahlawat and other characters portrayed their roles in splendid fervour. The songs essay the true feeling of the scenes. It does indeed invoke the spirit of being Indian .
