People who haven't played the games, will come into this movie taking it seriously. Those who have played the games this movie is a treat. Its littered with cameos and references and nods towards the games and lores. It pays respect to the characters and universe. And most of all it dosen't white wash the main cast. So much fan service packed into one. Its an excellent movie for real fans of mortal kombat but quite a dull ride for those who are just getting into mortal kombat, this isnt it.

Pretty bad movie. Interesting concept but filled with cringe writing, terrible pacing and plot holes and unlikable characters that make you root for them to die. For a movie called truth or dare they did only 2 TRUTHS and 68 dares. Might as well call the movie Dare or Dare movie. Truly horrible movie.
