Elf is that movie you watch when you don't feel like watching a more traditional Christmas classic like Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer or Frosty the Snowman. Instead, you want to watch a middle-aged man wears yellow tights, eating nothing but junk food, thinking he's an elf who runs around New York on a quest to find his father. This comedy just makes my day every time I see it. Every time I see a Santa in front of Wal-Mart I just want to shout SANTA!!! I just find it hilarious that someone actually thought of a plot like this, and I think they made the right casting for Buddy the Elf with Will Ferrell. I'd rate this movie 5 stars for its original plot and characters, this movie will just be another one of my favorite Christmas comedies. P.S. remember the yellow ones don't stop.

Jim Currey's Grinch is just one of those guilty pleasures to watch during the holiday season. Sitting down watching this movie with a cup of eggnog just to realize that Cidney Lou and her mother are wearing that same drink on their head as a fashion statement just kills me. But its how Jim Currey plays the Grinch that makes this film what it is. How Currey uses his comedy emotions instead of just being a cranky Scrooge just green, even though Currey will play that character nine years later. The set design and makeup for the Who's is really amazing. It's hard to hear how this film almost wasn't made because Currey couldn't handle the contact lenses. I would rate this movie a 4 out of 5 stars because of how well done the sets of Whoville were and the makeup for the Who's.

Christmas Vacation is one of those timeless classics you can watch again and again because it's just that fun of a film not to enjoy. In this film, anything that could go wrong will go wrong and this takes place during Christmas so it makes your holiday a bit less stressful. The plot is about a man who tries to take everything on himself to have a great family Christmas but starts to lose it a bit as the days count down to Christmas. Out of all the Lampoon Vacations, this film is by far my favorite to watch during the holidays. I would rate this movie a 4 out of 5 stars because of how well the plot is, the jokes were on par, and the overall emotions from Chevy Chase really made it seem like he was losing his mind.

I loved the movie. But I didn't start watching the anime till just a few months ago. But I binged all three seasons then heard a movie was coming out so I was stoked. It sucked because it was in select theaters though so I had to go to a different city to watch it but it was worth it. I had to look up the theater that was playing it and when I got there I didn't know if they were playing it or not until I heard someone else asked about it. After I bought the tickets the theater was packed with fans and cosplayers. There was one guy sitting behind me yelling jokes, some people might find it annoying but he didn't yell the whole time and they were pretty funny jokes not to laugh. But the movie itself was great and I'm glad I watched the anime beforehand because if I didn't I wouldn't know about the USJ or the Sports Festival. I would have to give this movie a 4 out of 5 stars because the animation was smooth, the voice acting was amazing, and the overall plot was great. Can't wait till FUNimation releases it to Blu-ray and DVD.

When I first saw the movie I was a little disappointed because when I first heard about the movie I thought it was going to be gory. But it didn't have to be gory to be an awesome thrill seeker. The eerie camera work and Nick Castle's movement as the Shape really made the movie scary and makes you think you saw something gory. But its Carpenters' score that really makes this movie stand out in horror. I would give this movie a 4 out of 5 stars for the spooky lighting, the eerie camera work, Castles' scary jumpscares, and the music score. But if you're looking for gore, watch Halloween 2018. I think its the sequel that this movie deserved.

Freaked, hideous mutant freaks. Sorry, I just love that song but anyway Freaked, what can I say about Freaked. This film was kind of all over the place, what with the plot and the corny jokes. I mean it was hard to follow the plot with how many jokes there were and a lot of those jokes are now dated in today's standards. Some of the dated jokes involved the Club and I Like Ike. But I do have to give credit to the special effects and makeup department for its creativity. The makeup designs were really well done in this film, I especially love the makeup for Nosey. I also really enjoyed the soundtrack. I'm not gonna leave a thumbs up or down because I'm kind of stuck in limbo. Because I enjoyed something while other things were a mess, and some of the characters were really annoying to me. But I would give this movie a 2 and a half stars just for the Makeup, effects, and soundtrack. I still can't believe this movie had a $12 million dollar budget just to make $29,296 back in the box office, then again it was shown in only two counties and a half. Hey anyone reading this review. It looks like Google got rid of the thumbs buttons so now we have a star rating. My grading is still a 2 and a half stars, but Google doesn't do the half. Just know its 2 and a half.

I just got to say, Spielberg gave us another classic with this movie. The story is fun to see, what with kids finding a treasure which a pro treasure hunter couldn't find. While being chased by a group of criminals. The acting from the child stars was kind of eh, what with them talking over each other making it hard to understand what they're saying. Then Chunk, Chunk was just annoying to me. But the sets and makeup were amazing. especially Sloths makeup, you don't see that kind of makeup anymore do to CGI special effects and motion caption. I would rate this movie 4 out of 5 stars for a good script, decent acting from the child actors, and brilliant set and makeup designs.

I think the movie is fine but the filmed over American scenes with Raymond Burr were kind of unnecessary. I think the movie would have done better just dubbed like the rest of the Godzilla films after. Don't get me wrong I think Burr did great, I just don't like how they changed the story by dumbing it down for us Americans like we can't follow a plot. That's why I like Godzilla Raids Again a lot more because they didn't film over it. I would have to give this movie a 3 out of 5 stars just because of the filmed over parts and the dubbed actors could have put a little more emotion in their voices and stand back from the mic a bit. But I'm glad I got the movie both the original Japanese and American release on DVD. it's not a double feature since it is the same movie but it does come in two separate discs. So I recommend getting both if your a hardcore Godzilla fan.
