Rose Marie – Google

This game is super cute and friendly, though there are some annoying things that I wish were NOT a thing. Cons: 1) the entrance to buildings can only face south, which completely takes away a whole dimension to your island that would have probably made it look a lot cooler. 2) the dialog from the NPC's is extremely repetitive. for example when you're just trying to get to someone's island, you have to sit through several dialog boxes from that idiot Orville or whatever. oh, and then everyone on the island you're going to has to watch a 2-minute long cutscene. 3)there are some EXTREMELY ugly villagers that just leave a horrible taste in your mouth... *shudder* 4) it's a bit boring earlier on in the game until you start unlocking cool stuff 5) (this one is really just a personal thing) I FRICKING HATE ISABELLE'S MORNING ANNOUNCEMENTS pros: 1) every friggin NPC is ADORABLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (especially Sherb) 2)Every npc is also really nice, actually a lot nicer than in previous games. 3)designing you island any way you want is super fun, especially if you don't have the freedom (or the money) to do that IRL 4)You can always reset your island if you ever stop liking your old one 5)the museum is super cool 6)it's really fun to catch all the new seasonal fish and bugs 7)tom nook doesn't charge interest rates!!!! 8)a lot of really cool furniture and clothing options 9)hybrid flowers that can really make a statement to your island 10)you can pick where all of the buildings go (except resident services and the airport) so, overall this game is pretty good, though honestly there are some features from previous games that they left out that would've made it a whole lot better. (though I hear they're gonna add new features eventually). So, I rate this game 4 stars, and recommend it to anyone who loves cute stuff and relaxing times!!! :)

I haven't even beat the game yet, but I got it recently and I LOOOOVE it. The 3D mode is SUPER well done. The graphics are flawless, the character's voices are wonderful, and I love how you can really get a sense of the character's personality in 3D mode because of the wonderful depth and all... btw, I HIGHLY recommend you play in 3D mode, because of what I just said - you feel like you're really a part of the game, like Erik is your real buddy in real life - plus, 2D is hard to accept in this day and age, ya know. Personally I feel the game is good when it comes to how hard it is; fighting monsters in easy enough once you have good enough weapons and armor, and of course there is a nice challenge offered once you get into a new part of the game, like when you're in the city trying to get back the orb (sorry if I'm spoiling a bit of what happens). There is a lot of dialog, and the dialog is usually in a cut scene where the characters have actual voices and talk sort of slowly while the words are also appearing on the screen underneath them for you to read - but I personally like the dialog, because that's what gives you a sense of who the characters are in the story and what they're like - and I also LOVE the accents in which they talk, ESPECIALLY ERIK!!!! I LOVE ERIK!!! Anyway, I hope this review helped... here it is summed up: If you like breath of the wild, enjoy fighting monsters to level up your character, like ANY other game in the Dragon Quest series, then GET THE GAME! but i'll have you know, this game is far less open-ended than BOTW, but it IS similar...
