Loved it. A bit long, but only because I was dying to know how it was going to end. Ben Platt has a great voice and all the support cast were more than adequate both as singers and actors. No show-stoppers as such, but all the songs had a melody.
You won't come away uplifted - the storyline does not allow that - but you will come away thinking you have seen a great work.
I will definitely see it again.
