No. No. No. This Netflix series is basically a mashup of: Interstellar, Alien, The Twilight Zone & Arrival. It takes most of the themes and motifs of past sci-fi films and filters out the good parts. That leaves us with the cliches and hokey moments.
If it wasn't for my OCD, I would have stopped watching this at episode 3.
Acting is bad. Each episode seems like a travesty onto itself. Characters/personalities are cookie-cutter. This is a BIG PASS.
