It was so boring, dragging, and one tone. Batman mainly just stood around and was so weak. Seemed like he was barely undercover. What was up with all the dark highlights around the eye? Reminded me of a woman whose mascara ran over the face from crying. The characters and just about all was so different from the comics. The Gotham series Penguin was so much better. The actors did do a great job, but the entire storyline and directing was horrible. As a huge Comics aficionado I was very disappointed. I actually love dark and suspenseful movies, but this was dark in the meaning that the movie filming was dark and made me sleepy. What was up with Batman not being a ladies man? Instead I this movie he is a boring recluse and so lame. Even dresses as a pauper and so serious. Seriously, don't waste your money and wait for it to be free. I bet it will very soon be free for all, and not just free for HBO MAX subscribers. Great actors, but the director should find a new line of work. Now for SPOILERS: Guess there will not be be Two Face, given the DA was killed by the Riddler. The Mayor was also changed to a black woman. All BLM and LGBTQ set aside, when it comes to movies that claim to be based on Comic books, I feel politics should be set aside and the movie characters should match the original comic books. Ridiculous how movies need to adapt to please society these days. Thankfully Marvel series this far follow comics much better. Moon Knight and Hawkeye series are much more worthy of everyone's time and money.
