Annie Murphy is the only reason I gave this show a try but it was painfully bad. I barely made it thru the first 30 minutes. The husband and his family are so annoying. The flipping between a comedy and a thriller where Annie Murphy's character fantasizes about killing her husband is as odd as her character's choice to ever marrying him in the first place. Not worth watching!

My favorite Stephen King book by far. This version does not come close to it. No where near it. The characters were so different. Some were almost forgotten like Nick Andros. His character was so pivotal in the book but could have been written out this version and would not have been missed. They missed the mark with Randall Flagg. Alex Skarsgard was a excellent choice but his part was not written well. The Darkman brought sheer and utter terror. No one would dare give him the middle finger in defiance. If you want to watch a version closer to the book, watch the 1994 version. That one is far superior to this one. Better yet, read the book. Then you'll realize you wasted your money paying for CBS All Access for this version.

Disappointing to say the least. It's a rare occurrence for a movie to live up to the book. The first chapter came close but chapter 2 was terrible. If you really want the story, read the book. This movie is not worth the ~3 hrs
