Watching the movie was an experience to remember for a lifetime. Movie buffs and critics are going to discuss this film for a long time.
Actually we ( myself and wife ) were a bit apprehensive about the movie due to the controversies erupted with in a couple of days of it's release. After watching it, we are now convinced that the comments about the movie were unwanted.
While unfolding the story line, we felt every moment a thrilling, breathtaking experience. The movie establishes the depth of friendship & love among friends, their mindset to sacrifice, the helplessness of human beings when it comes to such a situation, etc , the commendable cinematography supported by background music.
To be frank, we indeed felt some disappointment towards the end. It really felt odd that after such a daring rescue of the trapped youth, the imotional effects started waning for a few minutes. Never in the past a person trapped in Guna caves came out alive, as per the story. But after reaching the surface, it was felt that it was just another rescue operation. No hurrines to rush him to hospital, no stretcher even though the fire force, police and forest teams were present in strength. No medical team and it was unbelievable that a human being fallen from a great height inside a rocky cave with multiple grievous injuries were to be taken for long distance to downhill by manually carrying. After reaching the nearby human settlement, the villagers started touching and bowing. No priority was given to provide him immediate medical attention.
Moreover, it was also not convincing that the Doctor advised the group to shift him to some other hospital where trauma care is available and allowing them to take the patient in a jampacked vehicle ! Not an ambulance!!!
In a movie like Manjummal boys, such situations could've been avoided. Let's convince ourself that, the makers of such a splendid movie definitely have their own justifications.
Great experience
Great cast
Equally great production
Congrats
