this movie was a highlight of my childhood and I watched it three times in a row when it was on netflix. while I have fond memories and love the bizarre artistic direction it is just too hit or miss to be a pop culture icon. while the jokes are scattered and intended for more than one age group, the sheer spectacle of the movie makes it more than worth the price
