As some have said, yes, it is a bit of a throwback but hey, I watch movies to be entertained.Save the sermonizing for those who are ordained! Love the suspense which slowly builds, and the plot twists were a wonderful trip back to the days when movies set out to grab and surprise us , and did. Reminded me a bit of the movie Seven, although the parallels were psychological rather than real. Denzel and Jared Leto turned in excellent performances. Tell me you can watch this without being creeped out by Jared Leto's character. Hard to define but I had the feeling that the talented Rami Malik was hampered by some implausible plot actions near the end: what cop gets into a car alone with a suspected killer?? Still worth the watch
