References to cinematic traditions and cultural tropes that help tie the metaphorical arc of the movie to the violence resulting a really fantastic CLASSIC cowboy movie in a modern context on an ancient landscape. Beautiful cinematography with an classic robin hood story line - all delivered with measured performances by an excellent cast. Great music as well. Highly recommend.
