Powerful and thought provoking, exposing and exploring the flaws in human nature, and although sometimes an uncomfortable watch it is also gripping and entertaining at the same time. Another masterclass in acting from Benedict Cumberbatch, with some excellent performances also from the other maun characters.

Harlan Coben never fails to keep you guessing and Shelter is another classic example, although perhaps more targeted at a younger audience than his other novels. I have only seen six episodes so far but have found it very entertaining, and as usual haven't got a clue how it will turn out in the end. If you don't like Harlan Cobens style of writing (like all authors he has his own definitive style) then give it a miss, but if you do enjoy his plot style you are in for a treat.

Oh dear, I really was hoping for something far better than that. I think the massive holes in the plot have already been commented on, so I will not be repetitive. Just totally unrealistic and unbelievable.
