It was so refreshing to see such a great movie featuring my favourite monster, Godzilla. I grew up watching the classic Japanese Godzilla movies. I was very disappointed by the American adaptations (that does not include the Godzilla 2014 movie), but I am so happy the Japanese filmmakers did it again and made one of the best Godzilla movies ever. Thank you!!!

They tried mixing many science fiction and fantasy storylines, ending with nothing special and worth anyone's time. Most of the actors are very attractive, but it seems they do not know what to do (their characters lack depth and are not very interesting). I was also disappointed by the fighting scenes. They used too many slow-motion effects, and the fighting could have been more engaging.

I hated the old version so much that I never finished it. I watched this one and it is really good. I think that the biggest problem with the justice leage is poor casting and very flat conversations among the actors. However, this version has a nice and rather rich story, and of course great action scenes. It seems that the movie was shot in darkness which should be taken in consideration and I would recommend to watch it in a dark environment. Finally, this movie was done for adults and as a fan of sf and comic books I really enjoyed it.
