I wanted to write this review for a long time now. I completed watching this series few months back, and it has occupied a special place in my heart ever since. It's an unforgettable experience each time i recall back.
Film making at its finest, each scene is crafted with so much passion and depth.
This series has a soul and not everyone can feel it, i am glad i found this able to connect with the essence of this masterpiece.
I enjoyed every second of it to the fullest. Many people have talked about the characters. Each and every character from supporting character to lead character have written well and performed exceptionally well.
I want to appricate the technicle side of this series.
Starting from the series poster and title design. It's Perfect! The title design is simple and neat, the poster has sumerized the whole series by carefully positioning the 5 characters well and the has set the tone for the historical drama. The color tone of the entire series is so beautiful, not too much not too less every lighting position has made each scene appealing to the eye.
I want to personally thank the cinematorgrapher and the technical team behind Mr Sunshine. I have looked up everywhere on the internet but i couldn't find the cinematographer name, it saddens me although the cinematography of this series is praised no credits were given to the actual people behind it. I wanna thank every one from lighting man to background set creator. YOU guys are the pillars of this success. You guys made this possible and thank you for bringing 1900s to colour and beautifully creating Hanseong. I had a glimpse of Korea's history and how things were back then from little details to their food and their dresses. I wouldn't have known otherwise.
Thank you director, writer for bringing your vision to alive and most importantly thank you Netflix for bringing it to us.
