Barely modified softcore porn film. Story was slow and without a plot until the last 45 minutes. Mikey did an adequate job playing an unattractive hooker. Absolutely disappointing as a 5 Oscar winning film. Demi Moore has a legit reason to be pissed off.

Phoenix’s performance is completely deserving of his academy award. The movie itself is shallow, slow, and struggles to get to the point. Not worth a second viewing.
