With a ruthless enemy constantly trying to cut you down with machine gun fire, blow you up with artillery, or simply send a cloud of poisonous gas in your direction; it’s hard to imagine how anybody could’ve survived the carnage. The horrors of war are brought to life with this epic documentary. They did an excellent job restoring archive video, as well as the photographs. The narration was left to the survivors. Go see it!
