I mean it's watchable from start to finish. The majority of the movie focuses on black civil rights movements that sort of lose their place in the upbringing and rise of Tony Soprano. Tony seemed to play a tiny role throughout the entirety of the movie even though it was marketed as being a movie about him. It's not a bad movie on a whole but if you want to watch a movie about Tony Soprano in his youth you're going to be left wanting more and looking for another outlet to fulfill this yearning. I get that the setup for the circumstances and environment of Tony's upbringing is important but the movie goes so heavy on it that Tony Soprano is drowned out by all the unnecessary backstory. Watch it if you get a chance but I would recommend against paying for it. In the end, it just comes across as a generic gangster film.
