Pretty ordinary piece of Office-esque commentary on a forgettable year. It fails primarily because of its USA-is-the-centre-of-the-universe narrative, combined with some pretty obvious political leanings (despite half-hearted attempts to keep these motivations veiled by "comedy"). One or two funny moments, but not worth the inevitable PTSD that accompanies reliving 2020.

Such BS, critics are ridiculous sometimes. Yes I like critically acclaimed movies. I enjoyed Citizen Kane, Shawshank Redemption, Birdman etc. But some films are designed for something else. I was not bored, I was more than entertained. Crack open a bottle of wine on Friday night and you'll have a laugh.
