I’m horrifically disappointed with the story. The first game was violent and grotesque, absolutely, but it didn’t ride on the violence in order to surprise the player and keep them intrigued like TLOU2 does. And when it isn’t horrible acts of violence they try to surprise you with, it’s nude vulgarity instead. There’s zero nuance, it’s just grim and nothing else. Even if that was the goal, why INTENTIONALLY make a game for the player to hate.
