Starting out on radio and then moving on to television; Gunsmoke is absolutely the best western ever created! The longevity of the show proves that! The countless dramatic scenes and close ups; along with the comedic flourishes between "Doc Adams (Milburn Stone) and "Festus Hagan" (Ken Curtis) was ingenious!
