Absolute trash. There are just some films you don’t F with. The shining is one of those films. Fell asleep for about 30 minutes but it didn’t matter because when I woke up the same garbage plot was still happening, only now they were trying to use the magical parts of the original to rescue the trash film. Also the writing is really really bad and the acting is mediocre at best. Seriously don’t do it if you love the original
