A knock off version of the french movie " Le Diner De Cons", except they ruin the whole premise of the original and make it seem that Paul Rudd would be a good guy, where he would get a promotion, while the whole premise of the original was that it was purely for making fun of people, and they made steve Caroll a true idiot, was in the original the only reason why Jacques Villeret was considered dumb, was because of love, and that's why he had an obsession with making Eiffel tower matches. Thierry Lhermitte was supposed to go on the same path as his idiot. No deep meaning in this movie.
