(Mild spoilers) This film was not worth the $30 ticket price. The first hour is fun, but doesn’t have any substance. The last hour drags on, it is incredibly corny. It also really takes you out of the film when the writers arbitrarily decide WW gets new powers out of nowhere with zero explanation. These are touted as feminist films, and I was excited to see an on-screen gal friendship. That is so rare in blockbuster film. Usually in big movies the female characters are competing against one another instead of working together- but wait- the writers decided to play into these sexist gender stereotypes. It’s just so boring.
