Such a lovely book, I laughed & I cried. I was only familiar with Fried Green Tomatoes as I read it when I was young & Ms. Flaggs books were not common in Ireland. I saw this by chance & bought it immediately. I don't regret it for a second. I'm going to order the rest of her books. Even though this book is set so far away, the themes of love, loss, family, friendship & aging are universal. It makes me miss the members that I've lost, but remember them with a smile & joy in my heart.
