One of my favourites movies! Growing up I've always been interested in ancient Egypt and this film has it all action, storyline, comedy (Jonathan mainly), being an all round family film and also mostly correct historically too which is a massive bonus which I believe makes the film what it is unlike the Tom cruise remake. A slight change in the history books as imhotep was actually one of the first recorded genius' in history and was the architect of the first pyramid ever built for the death of pharaoh Djoser. Aside from this the storyline has been adapted very well and makes for a great family watch. Grab some popcorn and enjoy!

by far the most entertaining of the mummy series. Follows on well from the mummy, in all a very accurate film historically. Unlike the Tom cruise remake the research and effort was put into this movie to make it what it is. Grab some popcorn a n enjoy as a family!

The film itself was ok however from the offset the research hadn't been done into. Egyptian gods as set was Not the god of death. In fact Anubis was the Egyptian god of the dead alongside Osiris who was the got of death and ruler of the underworld and Set was the god of chaos, fire, deserts, trickery, storms, envy, disorder and violence in ancient Egyptian religion. For a film of this caliber I expected the detail to be accurate. I'll be interested in seeing how this continues considering a rather poor start.
