Overall, this book sets up an amazing, vivid dystopian world which never ceases to amaze. I highly recommend this book to those who just want to have a fun time reading about an alternate-history future, and don't want to have to pick apart overly-complicated and pretentious metaphors and plotlines. It doesn't commit the same sins as books such as Divergent, which create vapid and empty social commentaries which have proven overused. Instead, it creates a thrilling adventure full of tense struggles, criminal espionage, and sharp detective work.
