People obviously have no taste and prefer to watch bad movies with no substance, that's why they hated Destroyer. I was so worried I would dislike Destroyer after being so excited for months hoping it would be out in any theaters near me. It was very different and I understand why that would make some people feel a certain way about it, but the movie itself was incredible. I loved Kidman's performance and makeup and everything about it. She was a complete bad-a$$. It reminded me a lot of Nocturnal Animals. Not the plot, but the similarities of the character's flashbacks and how you could feel their deep pain and deep urge for revenge.

One of the worst movies I have ever seen and I absolutely loved Natalie's performance in JACKIE. I was sooo looking forward to this! I cannot believe she didn't win an Oscar for that one. This movie was just a mess. A boring mess. It also made no sense for the same character who played young Natalie to play her daughter (whose accent kept slipping every other word and it was very distracting). The narrator also added to the pretentiousness. This is the type of movie that wants you to think it's deep and has a meaning, but it really doesn't at all. Natalie's performance was imitating a New Jersey housewife that hasn't taken her Valium yet. How come Jude Law and the actress who played Celeste's sister all stayed the same age 16 years later, but changed the actresses for Celeste (played by Natalie). Why is Natalie Portman the face of the movie when she's barely in it? Embarrassing movie.
